Church Membership

Benefits of Church Membership:

Church membership benefits both the individual believer and the church.  From the church's perspective, membership identifies those who are committed and unified in beliefs, vision and mission.  From the individual believer's perspective, membership provides:

  • mutual accountability
  • elder prayer support
  • discipleship and equipping for service
  • spiritual growth
  • leadership opportunities

Membership provides opportunities for the body of Christ to fulfill the "one another" passages of Scripture in a practical way.  It enables each of us to walk in obedience to God's commands to the church.

We ask no more of our members than God expects of each and every believer.
