What to Expect

When you arrive for your first time at River, it will feel more like a familiar and friendly reunion with warm family members, rather than a visit to a distant religious institution.  Why?  Because we are River is made up of genuine people who have been rescued by God and are honestly glad to see you!

We will greet you at the door with a smile & gifts just for coming on your 1st visit -

A River daily devotional for your personal reading, some treats, a River pen…
all wrapped in a big River of Life coffee mug to remind you of your time with us!

  • all lyrics on the big screen
  • no hymnals to fumble through
  • new friends greet you with a smile
  • a free Bible to use during the service
  • & even one to take home if you need
  • bring the whole family!

What should my kids expect?
If you have kids, we have an awesome children’s ministry at our 10 AM Service! At River, kids are a vital part of our ministry!  Our desire is to teach children about God and cultivate their spiritual growth – not just babysit or entertain them. At our 10 AM service, we typically have 5 different children’s ministries going on!  We offer a number of different age ranged opportunities for your children to learn and grow so be sure to check out our Children’s Ministry page.  The kids sing songs, do crafts, play games, & learn a lot!  They will make new friends right away too! We get great reviews of our Children’s Church.  Parents tell us all that time that their kids can’t wait to come back.  Your kids will love it!
*Unfortunately we do not offer Children’s Church or Nursery during our 8 AM service. If this is a need of yours, we welcome you to come to our 10 AM service which offers a full children’s ministry program.
