Merry Christmas!

What an awesome time we had last night! We celebrated our Savior’s birth and saw the seats packed with our church family as well as new guests too. At some points there was complete silence in the sanctuary as we reflected on the passage of scripture found in Psalm 46:10-11:

“Be still and know that I am God.

I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!” The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress.

What a great church family we have!! I would like to give a very special thanks to Faith and Anne, who planned our service. I would also like to thank Anne’s sons Aaron and Andy for playing the music last night, and Craig for taking care of all the visuals and sound as well.

Remember to take time today to be still so you may: reflect, give, and worship. Have a Merry Christmas!!

Check out this adaption parody of the age old favorite hymn. What if an arminian wanted to sing it instead? Here is what it might sound like…

I found this on another blog, but it is funny and worth a chuckle. Scriptures links are added to some text to make it more interesting to read through:
